The Importance of Work Management
Transforming and streamlining crucial business processes via work management tools impacts positively on productivity, collaboration, morale and quality of output.

What is Work Management?
Not to be confused with project management, work management is the holistic process of managing all of your work, not just a specific project. It is about organising and tracking all of the things you need to do; saving you vast amounts of time otherwise spent on needless coordination.

Why is it so important?
Without an effective system, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and unproductive. This makes priorities unclear, causing focus to shift to lower value, reactive activities like checking email. Work management systems allow individuals and teams to significantly boost productivity and collaboration.

Getting to know your team, business, problems & goals.
2
Project Plan
Designing the timeline for rollout across the company.
3
Implementation
Creating your key projects, workflows and templates.
4
User Training
Coaching the team for success with Asana.
5
End Review

Consultation
Our first goal is to discover and clearly define the painful symptoms and fundamental root causes of inefficiency, frustration and overwhelm in the business. Then we’ll get clear on your current processes, systems and workflows and define the most effective means of implementation.

2
Project Plan
Once we’re clear on the specific problems and the ideal end goals, it’s time to map out how we’ll get there by creating a clear road map of the project from start to finish.

3
Implementation
Together, we will configure your account and set up all necessary custom fields, tags, reports, workflows, projects, teams, dashboards and more – all ready for the team to dive right in and start using the platform to its fullest!

4
User Training
Training is delivered via interactive group workshops during which attendees will experience live demonstrations and practical exercises to get them up to speed, quickly and comfortably. Every step is also fully documented so that team members can refer back in future.

5
Final Review
Once the key stakeholders are trained up and comfortable, it’s time to the team to get used to using the system. For 4-8 weeks, they will receive personal support and access to group training webinars for additional advice and workflow development. After this period is over, we’ll assess how things have progressed and provide a breakdown of successes and potential next steps for further improvement.

Case Study
“As an entrepreneur, I’ve always struggled with the problem of having SO many things going on at once… and that all being stuck in my head.”
Gavin Bell recently decided enough was enough and it was time to create order from chaos.
After much deliberation, he decided Asana was the solution he needed.
Listen to Gavin describe his experience…
“I just want to reiterate how much the team here are liking Asana. They really, really, really like it. I think it’s safe to say, as I lie on my deathbed as an old man, it will probably be the best professional thing I did. ‘And a good thing I got Dave to help us implement it’ I will croak before expiring.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Naturally, every business has questions or concerns when undertaking significant change. Below are some of the most common questions.
What if we already use lots of tools?
That may be part of the problem. We’ll address this fully during the consultation stage. The more we can simplify your technology stack and workflows, the better!
Won't this restrict freedom at work?
Work management tools don’t restrict freedom. They create more of it.
By streamlining and organising all work, businesses can drastically reduce the amount of time-consuming admin and project coordination that otherwise takes up people’s time and attention. This gives team members more room to focus on their most important work.
Won't this just replace human interaction?
No, it will supplement it.
Just because a business uses a work management tool, doesn’t mean that teammates can’t have personal conversations and productive meetings. Synchronous communication can and does have its place. The important thing is that all decisions and important communications are logged afterwards.
What if we're too busy to learn a new system?
That is precisely what this programme is designed to fix!
Implementing and adopting Asana isn’t “one more thing on your to-do list” – it is your to-do list… It’s where that list should live.
Being too busy to implement an effective work management system is the same as saying “we’re too busy to fix being busy”.
We've never used Asana before - does it matter?
No. This programme is designed to help any company, regardless of size or experience to successfully adopt Asana. Most of my clients have never used the tool before. And among those who have, most weren’t aware of the sheer potential it had.
Can this be done 100% remotely?
Yes. All aspects of the programme can be delivered either on-location at your office or 100% remotely via the Zoom web conferencing software.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, this programme is split into 3 milestone payments as follows:
- 40% upon commencement
- 40% upon completion of training workshops
- 20% upon completion of the programme
